Two weeks ago, photographer/director Dave Naz (MySpace) celebrated the release of his new Vivid-Alt (MySpace) movie Circa '82, his second directorial effort for the imprint, with a party at the Hyperion Tavern in Silver Lake. Circa '82 revives "...the early 80's and focus[es] on the important things in life: sex, music, and doing whatever the fuck they want. No parents, no school, no rules." Last Wednesday, Vivid-Alt (MySpace) head, director Eon McKai (MySpace), celebrated the release of his new movie The Doll Underground with a party at the Little Cave (MySpace) in Highland Park. As reviewed by Violet Blue, The Doll Underground "...is one of the best porn films I've ever seen, and it feels like anti-porn — it's almost against the system it came from by being all that it is — a deep investigation of culture......

It went from Amélie to The Village The mystery of LonelyGirl15 (aka LG15) is solved. And it's a complete bore: three dudes randomly meet, they come up with a good idea that is LG15, it works (it works really really really well), the mystery around it stirs conversation whether it be real or a marketing scheme and then we find out it was just three dudes who are now represented by Creative Artists Agency.......
