Dance teacher, TV judge and choreographer Melvin Shane Sparks was arrested this morning at his North Hollywood home as part of an ongoing child molestation investigation in which he is suspected of engaging in a handful of sexual acts with minors. Suspects Rianne Celine Theriault-Odom, 27, of North Hollywood and Nathaniel Marquis Petrillo, 22, of Reseda were arrested Monday afternoon in a Valley hotel. The motive behind last week's attack is unknown, but police say the two were frequent customers at the Tarzana strip club. more ›

Police are expected to hold a press conference later today, but what we know now is that a dancer from Babes & Beer nightclub at 18454 Oxnard St. in Tarzana was doused in an accelerant by two men and then set afire leaving her in critical condition. What prompted the attack at 1:30 a.m. is still unknown but police are asking for the public's help. Photos and the names of the suspects are expected to be released later today. more ›
