Anaheim-based froyo chain Yogurtland recently announced their match-made-in-heaven pairing with Sanrio for a six-week long special promotion where HK characters will be integrated into their 130 locations.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of bobcats in the Santa Monica Mountains. We've seen them before, jumping from tree to tree, in Sherman Oaks, but today we learn of a mother bobcat who recently gave birth to three playful (and cute!) kittens.

This is just too 'effin adorable to pass up. Travis Kaplow at LA Metblogs scored an amazingly cute photo of a hot pink children's car parked in a space next to a full sized car. "Must be the Mini-Me version of Angelyne," joked blogger David Markland in the comments section. Or perhaps it's the beginning of the next Valley Girl as this was found in Sherman Oaks, home to Galleria and nearby to Frank Zappa's old home.

Cute! Check out the Baby Giraffe Just Born at the LA Zoo
On April 5th, this little guy was born at the LA Zoo. So congrats to his parents, Neema and Artimus. "Able to stand shortly after birth, calves can grow four feet during their first year. When full grown, giraffes can reach a height of 18 feet, making them tallest land mammal," says the Zoo. "Native to Kenya and Tanzania, giraffes can reach a speed of 35 miles per hour. Their kicks are so powerful that they’re capable of decapitating a lion (ouch!). Giraffes communicate with one another through posturing, movement, the way they carry their tails, retreat and sometimes vocalization, which can include moos, bellows and whistles."
