The baked and packaged goods offshoot of legendary chef and restaurateur Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bistro is situated in a cozy little cranny adjacent to Bar Bouchon, at the base of the majestic stairs that lead you up to the Bistro.

Haute Skillet's Cheese-Stuffed Croissant Burger Backyard Pop Up
Saturday afternoon I had the pleasure of attending a "not so secret" backyard underground dinner event in Hollywood. Young chef Christian Navarro was serving up his variation of the classic Juicy Lucy burger, which was something we had never heard of before. He explained that it was like a cheeseburger, except the cheese was inside of the patty.

Known for their tantalizing pastries, as well as savory sandwiches, this popular bakery seems to have it going on at breakfast time, too.

(And, well, okay, how incredibly rich and buttery and grease-laden it can be too...croissants are basically pure butter and, yes, there appears to be bacon in between that egg and cheese goodness.)
