Tuesday's 10pm slot is getting competitive again: Since we're committed to "SouthLAnd" you know what we'll be watching but we will also watch DVR'd or repeated broadcasts of: "White Collar" which premieres tonight, look for our interview with series star Matt Bomer; and Comedy Central's "Tosh.0" and "Onion SportsDome." Also on are FX's "Lights Out," which is better than most of what broadcast TV has to offer, perhaps with the exception of "Parenthood" and "Detroit 1-8-7." At 9pm look for the return of "Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern" on the Travel channel.

So the word was that Jon Gosselin was kicked off of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" making it "Kate Plus 8" which really would have been 1/2 a show. Now Jon has retaliated and has shut down the show's production via a cease and desist order. So now there'll be a battle between parental rights and TV network contract lawyers. Could be interesting but it seems unlikely anyone will come out smelling like roses in this mess.

Is GE finally going to get out of the TV business? Rumor has it that Comcast is in talks to acquire all or some of NBC Universal. Hopefully this will put an end to the Lenofication of TV and will restore more scripted shows (we can dream).

The Associated Press busted a big story today. In order to see if Comcast was indeed interfering with filesharing, the AP tested a big file on the Internet via the popular filesharing software BitTorrent, a digital copy of the most famous text in the world - the Holy Bible.
