Lakers 103, Washington Wizards 91 - The game wasn’t as close as the final score indicates. The Lakers led by 22 at halftime, and led by as much as 25 points in the third quarter. Kobe Bryant, who outscored the Wizards in the first quarter 19-15, ended up with 30 points on 10-15 shooting with eight free throws. Vladamir Radmanovic, Lamar Odom and Ronny Turiaf rounded out the starters with double-figure scoring, and Sasha Vujacic......

Lakers 103, Bulls 91 - Los Angeles spread the scoring around to down Chicago. Sasha Vujacic scored 19, Kobe Bryant had 18, and Lamar Odom had 17 (plus 16 rebounds). Raptors 80, Clippers 77 - As if the Clip Show wasn't missing enough performers, Cuttino Mobley was out sick. Both teams shot under 40% from the field. UCLA 77, Western Illinois 52 - In a breeze of a game, K-Love was 5-of-5 for 16 points.......

Lakers 119, Jazz 109 - The Lakers may have won their second straight game against a division champ. Kobe may be playing team ball (and even blocked a dunk, for cryin' out loud). We're still not buying it ... Derek Fisher was 0-for-7 in the first half against his former team, but finished with 19 points ... The Lakers removed press row from courtside, adding 15 more seats which are going for $2,300 per game.......

Fire 1, Galaxy 0 - We happened to be at Chicago-area hotspot Krem last night and saw players from both teams drinking, but for different reasons. The Fire scored in extra time to clinch the final MLS playoff spot and send the Galaxy back to Los Angeles for the year. We think we ran into Chicago mega-star Cuauhtemoc Blanco in line for the bathroom, but it's a little fuzzy. We did see LA's Cobi Jones,......

Plan on seeing alot of Elton Brand sitting around in a suit this year. The Clippers' perennial All-Star ruptured his left Achilles tendon during a workout at Spectrum Club South Bay. Surgery and recovery may sideline Brand for most of next season, and if it does, that makes for another Clip Show year with a horrible ending. Los Angeles Clippers' forward Elton Brand ruptured his left Achilles tendon today during his regular daily workout at......

Today is first day since Halloween that there were no college or pro basketball games, but there is still LA Laker news because today Lou Gossett answered claims that he owes the Lakers tens of thousands in past due ticket buys. Yesterday you might recall we told you that the Lakers were suing the star for $40k for Premium Seats, a unique seat that allows the ticketholder to go to pretty much any sporting......

Nuggets 103, Clippers 88 - For the second night in a row, as Sam Cassell went so went the Clip Show. Last night the eldest Clipper sprained his ankle in the second half and the team fell apart. The Nuggets won their sixth straight behind 33 from Mello. Meanwhile the Clips lost their fourth straight and are now sole residents of the cellar. Lakers 99, Nets 93 - Kobe and Lamar combined for a......

- It's always nice to go to Lahaina, but it's better to come back with some hardware. UCLA did just that as they won the EA Sports Maui Invitational by easily rolling past #19 Georgia Tech 88-73. Arron Afflalo had 19 points in the win, but sophomore Darren Collison was named the tournament MVP. The fifth-ranked Bruins were up by 22 points in the second half with 9:49 left to play. - The Clip......
