A man driving a stolen car made a clever escape from police today by driving off the edge of a cliff, then managing to stroll off from the scene of the crash. City News Service reports that the man was pulled over at around 1:45 p.m. on Malibu Canyon Road, about a mile away from the Pacific Coast Highway. Update: The death has been ruled a suicide for a woman in her forties.


One person has been found dead at a cliff near Point Fermin in San Pedro. Specifically, officials have been called to 900 W Paseo del Mar within Angels Gate Park according to Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman Brian Humphrey. The LAPD is currently investigating as LAFD helicopters await to possibly airlift the body to the Korean Bell of Friendship where the coroner is waiting. more ›
