As the idea to build a football stadium in downtown Los Angeles surfaced, more concern over the planned one out in the City of Industry have been raised. On Tuesday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said he was worried about how the 75,000-seat, $800-million facility would be built, the San Gabriel Tribune reported. A collision involving a Metrolink train and a Union Pacific maintenance truck has left one dead and two injured, according to LA Now. The train was bound for San Bernardino from Union Station, and collided with the truck at around 9:20 a.m. when it reached the crossing at Temple Avenue, located near the 605 Freeway where the City of Industry meets unincorporated Bassett. of the over 130 people on board, two were taken to area hospitals while the rest were detoured by bus.
