The cold weather - and holiday festivities - descended upon Gothamist. The Rockefeller Christmas tree was lit, Broadway stagehand finally ended their strike, and NASCAR decided to run their victory lap through Times Square. There were disturbing photographs revealing the working conditions in which many city manholes are produced and ninjas were also a hot topic, either robbing homes or entering into alibis. Tonight, Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel presents a story close to home at 9:00 p.m. We just watched a screener and it was a joy. A family drops off a Dalmatian off at Fire Station 29 on Wilshire Blvd. and with good intentions, the firemen of the station took the 3-month-old puppy in. Like, oh my god, so cute! But incredibly wild and unruly. Appropriately named Wilshire, the hyperactive pup took over......
