Just as one project on the 405 Freeway completes, another one is set to begin. A $1 billion project--partially funded by bonds--will take 10 northbound miles--between the 10 and 101 freeways--and bring car pool lanes to them, saving 10 minutes of travel time in the Sepulveda Pass, according to the Daily News.
