After nearly 60 years of U.S. soccer history, the famous shot heard round the world from the 1950 World Cup in Brazil now has company. Former UCLA standout Carlos Bocanegra captained a U.S. Men's National Team that on Wednesday evening (South Africa time), defeated the number #1 ranked Spanish team by a score of 2 - 0.
