LA's mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, was among the 18 politicians who issued statements yesterday in support of President Barack Obama's decision to extend what are commonly referred to as the "Bush tax cuts," according to MyFoxLA. A number of other Democrats issued statements about Obama's decision, however they were in opposition, including one from California Democratic Party Chair John Burton, who called for his party members to "stand up to the political terrorism of the Republicans in the United States Senate." more ›
