After running away from the Clippers Tuesday night, the Wolves looked out of gas against the well-rested Lakers. For all the hoopla made over Kobe’s concussion and broken nose, he quietly knocked in 31 points along with seven boards and eight assists. And to the delight of the crowd, everyone got tacos.

LA Lakers defeat Oklahoma City Thunder 107-93. The Thunder tried making a comeback in the fourth quarter, but it took Kobe Bryant only three minutes to score 10 points to squash that hope. With the 36 points he scored, Bryant eclipsed Adrian Dantley for 19th all time scorer. The Lakers continue to have the best record in the NBA at 47-10 and the best road record at 21-6.

LA Lakers defeat NY Knicks 126-117. In his 13th season in the NBA Kobe Bryant continues to astound people. Not only did he break Michael Jordan's record of most points scored by an opponent at the new Madison Square Garden (55 points), he also surpassed Bernard King's mark of 60 points for any player which was set on Christmas Day 1984 with 61 points. This marks his 4th highest scoring game in his career. Clearly upstaged was Pau Gasol's 31-point, 14 rebound effort filling in the void left by Andrew Bynum.
