Pack your picnic baskets. It's almost time for another amazing summer at the Hollywood Bowl. Yesterday the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association announced the Hollywood Bowl 2008 Summer Season. Esa-Pekka Salonen will lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in two performances of Mahler's 8th Symphony in his final concerts at the Bowl as Music Director. Bramwell Tovey was named Principal Guest Conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic of the Hollywood Bowl. He will conduct his own Urban Runway on July 8 and several other concerts throughout the summer. more ›
