In honor of Boyz II Men getting the 2,456th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today, we offer a video retrospective of some of the hits of the top-selling R&B group of all time (that's over 60 million albums, wowzers!). Turn the lights down low, because the slow jams are about to roll hard.
The Boyz II Men Video Retrospective You've Always Wanted
Boyz II Men Getting Star on Walk of Fame
It's not the end of the road for Boyz II Men -- in fact, it's only the beginning. Or maybe the middle. The location remains to be seen, but the point is, 90's R&B group Boyz II Men are getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today.
Tonight In Rock: Delta Spirit, Prefuse 73, Jon Brion, Ozomatli
Tonight LA-based pop duo Jupiter Rising are opening for boy band Boyz II Men at Club Nokia in Downtown. Hermosa Beach's own punk rockers Pennywise will be struttin' their machismo around a sold-out crowd with the Vandals at the Hollywood Palladium. Santa Cruz-by-way-of-Atlanta instrumental outfit Sound Tribe Sector 9 are headlining the Wiltern with electronic producer/musician extraordinaire Prefuse 73. San Diegan alt-rockers the Delta Spirit will be performing at the El Rey Theatre with LAist favorites Everest (LAist Review, #2). Latin rockers Ozomatli are headlining the Echoplex with Wait.Think.Fast in tow. And, lastly, Anticon's best emcee Sole is coming through the Knitting Factory. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Hotel Café to watch Theresa Andersson (LAist Interview) tear down the house with her one-woman band.

Tonight in Rock in LA - Rancid, Boyz, Ettes, Bo, Lyrics Born
The Pogues were so bad last night at the Wiltern that we left early and can't really recommend them tonight, but we will list them because, we'll they're the Pogues. The problem was Shane was so drunk/fucked-up/brain damaged that it was sad. LAist are HUGE Pogues fans. Over the last three days we've listed them three times and posted two different videos. Which is what made last night's show so heartbreaking. It was like watching Ozzy on that MTV show when he was at his lowest. See anything else.
Coachella 2006 Pre-Sale
One would assume that the line-up will be announced tomorrow or Tuesday but that hasn't stopped the fake line-ups from cropping up. There's a really good mock-up out that seems to have scoured the internet for every band rumored to be coming to the Empire Polo Field. As losanjealous notes, Smashing Pumpkins, either in a headline or a second from the top spot (we're guessing a second from the top spot on day 2 since Depeche Mode probably has the headliner spot on day 1) seems like a pretty safe bet.
