One wonders why they would punish themselves by watching "Lost" and "Damages" back-to-back on Wednesday nights as the experience is thoroughly disorienting but that's probably the idea.

For those of you that watched the 2-hour premiere of "Lost" last night, are you enjoying that old familiar feeling of not knowing what the hell is going on?

As promised on Saturday, the SNL finale lived up to the hype by delivering a great performance from Steve Carell and an even more newsworthy pair of performances from Senator John McCain. When SNL clips make it onto NPR then they had to have done something right.

I was lucky enough to catch the Yeah Yeah Yeahs last night as they headlined the first show of their two-night stopover in Los Angeles, which once again earned its reputation as an early-to-bed-early-to-rise town.
