The Candy Land Lolita Tea Party turned Royal/T into a sugar shock filled vision of candy treats. From the cupcakes and afternoon tea sweets to the brightly colored costumes, Royal/T was bubbling over with energy. The event featured themed costumes, The Valley of the Dolls shop, music by Tune in Tokyo, hourly prize raffles, and fashion shows from Carlyfornia and Kawaii Kidz.

Get your camera ready. It's time to meet Hello Kitty. She will make her appearance at our favorite uber groovy doll shop, The Valley of the Dolls on Beverly Blvd. LAist has already been there to meet store owner Scot Reyes check out the Blythe and Pullip Dolls. Now The Valley of the Dolls carries loads of Sanrio products and Hello Kitty is coming by to celebrate. Free balloons, treats, giveaways, and drink samplings. LA just got a whole lot cuter.

              

When you open the door to The Valley of the Dolls you enter a fantasy world. From Pullips wearing fishnet tights to Rozen Maidens in elaborate costumes, these are no ordinary dolls. The Blythe dolls wear groovy clothes and stare at you with their very real looking eyes. Add some Gloomy Bears, miniatures, and Japanese plushies and you have found a toy heaven. LAist asked store owner Scot Reyes about designing toys, opening a store in LA, and hard core doll collectors.
