Last Sunday there was a memorial service for beloved Sunset Junction mainstay, Bingo. If you’ve ever been on Sunset between Sanborn and Hyperion, you’ve surely enjoyed the super wiener-dog of all time strutting his stuff; greeting shoppers and friends at Pull My Daisy – the store belonging to his supercool owner, Sarah, or satisfying his legendary love of bacon just outside Eatwell.

Christmas Eve is here. And today is no time for cynicism, irony or nastiness of any sort. Time instead to make something nice to eat, clink your glass with a loved one, and count your blessings with total sincerity.

I am thankful for… Thanksgiving - even though I think it’s a stupid holiday, and I pretty much hate all the food associated with it - for giving me the opportunity to spend the day with family that I love and actually enjoy being around. I am thankful every day that I am able to make a living being creative and doing something I love. (Except for when I’m on strike) I am thankful...
