Pencil This In: Bike Film Fest, Salsa and Wine Tasting

The 6th edition of the Bicycle Film Festival returns to L.A. tonight! Presented by 42BELOW, the festival extends beyond the films on the silver screen to art, fashion, music and culture pertaining to the cycling world. The festival kicks off tonight at 8 PM with a performance by DEERHUNTER and screening of Bikes Rock! at The Center for Arts in Eagle Rock. Through August 30th.

FILM: The American Cinematheque’s Old Pasadena Film Festival continues tonight with three free screenings tonight. At 7 pm is an Emerging Filmmakers program with shorts and films by students and faculty from the Armory Center for the Arts, Art Center College of Design and Pasadena City College. At 8:30 pm, the Cary Grant-Audrey Hepburn classic Charade screens outdoors at One Colorado Courtyard. And what better film to end the evening with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on the roof of Schoolhouse Garage on Green Street at 10 pm.
