The sixth-ranked Bruins demolished the Oregon State Beavers 84-49. The game was over within the first 30 seconds when Darren Collison hit a three-pointer to start the game to keep the Beavers winless in the Pac-10. Lakers 118, Wizards 102 - Some say the Gilbert Arenas - Kobe Bryant rivalry has sprouted, and LAist is pretty sure it's budding. Both players have denied any personal friction despite mild trash talking in the media. Their exciting play against each other in Washington demonstrated talent and mutual admiration. Ducks 68, Bruins 66 - UCLA men's hoops dropped their first game of the year and likely fell out of the nation's top ranking for the first time in several weeks. Lakers 132, Kings 128, OT - Even though Sacramento came into the game a .500 team, this Norcal/Socal rivalry produced another exciting game. The Lakers held a commanding 21 point lead, but fell apart and needed last second shot by Smush Parker to send it into overtime.
