They call him the Stare Down Bandit because witnesses say he stared at the teller from which he was demanding cash, and authorities are hoping to haul him in.
The suspect in question is thought to be behind two bank robberies in the OC yesterday, the first a failed attempt at a U.S. Bank branch in Huntington Beach, followed by a successful robbery at a Bank of America branch in Irvine.

An elderly man nicknamed the "Geezer Bandit" has allegedly robbed his 14th bank in California. The suspect has been tied to a Friday afternoon robbery at Heritage Oaks Bank in Morro Bay, according to ABC7. The robber "pointed a revolver at two tellers," in the branch, and "threatened them and demanded money."
'All Ears Bandit' Wanted For Three L.A. Bank Robberies

What I do know is that the "All Ears Bandit" is wanted by police and the FBI in connection with three local bank robberies at Bank of America branches this month where victims were threatened with a firearm.

The FBI believe it was the same suspect who robbed a La Crescenta Bank of America branch three years ago, and in September of this year. They are calling him the "Green Tattoo" bandit because of the green-reddish tattoos he sports on the back of his neck, as noted by witnesses.
Police Looking for 'Salt & Pepper' Bank Bandit
The Los Angeles Police Department are searching for a bank robber they've dubbed the "Salt & Pepper Bandit" (because of his hair). Authorities believe he is behind at least 12 bank robberies from a variety of local banking institutions that have taken place between January 5-22, and one today at just after noon at the Bank of America located at 11501 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Twice in the last week he's handed a note to bank tellers in Mission Viejo and Aliso Viejo demanding money. Problem is, he ran off both times before getting any money, prompting the FBI to dub him as the "The Empty Pockets bandit."
