Attempting to pull sticky, er, bubble gum out of your hair was as vain as trying to banish Hanson's "MmmBop" from your brain ten years ago. A decade ago, that was your little sister's Hanson. Fast forward to 2007 and you've got three grown men who have purposely done nothing to shed their image of the past but have somehow emerged as a band for today. Unlike comparable, so-called boy bands, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based......

For years he was Howard Stern's head writer. Of course that title pissed off Fred Norris, but that was all part of the multi-layered levels of fun that was the Stern show for a decade. Either due to Jackie asking for too much money or of Jackie not wanting to wake up early every morning (something that Artie Lange is now complaining about), Martling was not resigned and in 2001 Lange was eventually hired......

Howard Stern's former head writer, Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling, famous for paying Rodney Dangerfield in jokes, and infamous for giving Artie Lange all the fame that will probably kill him, has not only returned to the airwaves via Sirius, but is returning in the flesh this weekend when he brings his raunchy jokes to the Canyon on Saturday. LAist was lucky enough to score an email interview with one of our all-time favorite......

Clearly we aren't as big of Howard Stern fans as some would have you think. When we heard that the "Killers of Comedy" (members of Stern's staff and "Wack Pack") were scheduled to be at the Avalon Saturday night we dilly-dallied and didn't make it to Vine until 9ish. Unfortunately the show starring Rev. Bob Levy, Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Shuli, KC Armstrong and the lovable Beetlejuice started at a head-scratching 6pm so the......

- Howard Stern's regulars Rev. Bob Levy, Sal "Whaaaa I Fell Off The Stage" Governale, Richard Christy, Shuli, Yucko the Clown & Beetlejuice will grace LA with two shows in May. What, no fat Artie? Hi Fred - Killers of Comedy - Art Brut will be coming to the Troubadour on 4/2. Has he moved here yet? - Pitchfork - Jane Pratt outs Drew Barrymore by saying that she and Drew got it on......

Last night several regulars of the Howard Stern show were in Lakeland, Florida doing a comedy night. Anchored by Artie Lange, last night's show brought about appearances by Crazy Cabbie, Richard Christie, Sal the Stockbroker, and Gary "Babbabooey" Dell'Abate, among others. Everything was fine until Fla Fla Flunkie got on stage as Sal was dancing to a re-working of the Kanye West hit "Golddigger". It appears that right as the horse-toothed jackass reached out......

LAist loves the Howard Stern Show. We're Sirius subscribers, we have been known to defend his good name, we listened while he was #1 in LA, we're rooting him on as Sirius approaches 7 million subscribers, we even stood in line in Pasadena to get "Miss America" signed. So when we got the opportunity to interview long-time producer, and former intern, Mike Gange, we had lots of questions that we were dying to know......

Our pals over at Tabloid Baby don't seem to be subscribers to Howard Stern over at Sirius, because for some reason they took the news that Stern will be offerring a free preview of his show via the Internet on 10/25 and 10/26, and a one cent special for his On Demand Howard TV channel as a sign that the King of All Media is interested in going back to the likes of KLSX......

Not known for his on-the-spot news coverage, the Howard Stern Show broadcast of the tragedy five years ago remains one of the most compelling accounts of that infamous day. For years the shock jock was the most popular morning radio show in Los Angeles, and on the morning of 9/11 Stern got the news while talking about Pamela Anderson. The show broadcast about four miles away from the World Trade Center and as soon......

Yes we've been watching "Weeds". Finally Showtime has decided to get with the program and actually take advantage of the success of original, edgy shows on HBO. It makes us wonder why Showtime isn't taking the next step and actually having an edgy, daily broadcast like, oh... The Howard Stern show -- which was once highly-rated on E!, censored, but now only available on cable stations that have deals with OnDemand. A network like......
