Before we really begin (but after you’ve already become enraged by the headline), let me say this: different people like different things. Toppings, bun, cooking method, texture, ingredients, ratios - all play a factor in determining the best burger in any given area. And to be sure, this single post won’t put the ‘Best Burger In Los Angeles’ debate to rest for you (even though our pick is absolutely correct) so don’t worry about being wrong when you criticize the list below. Who knows, maybe you get a real kick out of being wrong. Like we said, different people like different things.

Halloween always means three things. Costumes, candy, and pumpkins. And what better way to enjoy a pumpkin than baked up in a delicious pie? Once you carve the guts out of those suckers, you gotta do something with 'em. And we advocate eating those guts, preferably with a big scoop of whipped cream and/or vanilla ice cream.

We couldn’t help but notice mention of a couple local Cali institutions in Jane Levere’s NY Times piece about the remarkably unsophisticated daytime food tastes of contemporary culinary luminaries. Turns out famed New York-based chef Daniel Boulud recently visited the Apple Pan, while French Laundry and Per Se super star chef Thomas Keller relishes the In-N-Out burger—fries—shake—trifecta.
Bun Day
She hits all the usual suspects like Original Tommy Burgers,The Apple Pan, Fatburger and In-N-Out, but, surprisingly, fails to look in on Astro Burgers. Guess, it's too vegetarian for the list.
