This weekend's red flag warnings rang true around 3:30 a.m. in the hills above Malibu. In six hours, over 2,000 acres have burned and at least 35 homes (of the multiple-million-dollar variety) are reported destroyed. In a stunning victory, bouncing back from their previous night's loss, the Ducks managed to defeat the Bruins last night 68-66. This takes UCLA out of their undefeated season. With UCLA down, Darren Collison nailed a crucial 3-pointer to tie the game at 66. Aaron Brooks then nailed a jumper to give Oregon a 2 point lead over the Bruins. James Kim, 35, was found dead today in a steep ravine of the Oregon Wilderness in what appears to be an attempt to get help for his family. When it was apparent that James and his family were stranded in the snow early this past Saturday he left them to seek help. He had walked a long distance before his body was discovered in a ravine today by authorities. His autopsy results indicating cause of death should be released tomorrow. more ›
