Our crack political team is projecting "reason to believe" that both Rudy Giuliani and Gov. Schwarzenegger will endorse John McCain for the Republican nomination very soon. We've sorted through various flight plans and itineraries, deciphered a number of "no comments" and left several voice messages on Wolf Blitzer's cell. Schwarzenegger will endorse "within days," Sen. Lindsay Graham told reporters before McCain took off for Burbank this morning. It's unclear whether that means today, or......

This weekend's red flag warnings rang true around 3:30 a.m. in the hills above Malibu. In six hours, over 2,000 acres have burned and at least 35 homes (of the multiple-million-dollar variety) are reported destroyed. Everyone in the Malibu Bowl area west/southwest to Point Dume have been ordered to evacuate as 35-40 miles an hour gusts are fueling fires over roads and canyon passes. At least 200 homes remain threatened all the way down to......

Let's first get some stuff out of the way. You know what I'm talking about -- that last year stuff. UCLA lost to Florida in the final round of the NCAA tournament last year by 16 points, outplayed up and down the court. But if you've been watching closely, if you even have a sense of what's going on, you know that a different Bruin team will be marching into the Georgia Dome tomorrow afternoon.......

In a stunning victory, bouncing back from their previous night's loss, the Ducks managed to defeat the Bruins last night 68-66. This takes UCLA out of their undefeated season. With UCLA down, Darren Collison nailed a crucial 3-pointer to tie the game at 66. Aaron Brooks then nailed a jumper to give Oregon a 2 point lead over the Bruins. UCLA came back trying to fight the clock but ultimately could not penetrate. Josh......

It would have been difficult to call the winner on this one: Sun Valley’s Ski Mountain defended its black diamond title this past Saturday against Governer Re-Elect Arnold Schwarzenegger in what many are calling a surprising defeat. The Governor came in strong early in the first round, seamlessly gliding through the many obstacles that Sun Valley Mountain set in his path. Schwarzenegger’s speed and power were more than enough to get him through the......

James Kim, 35, was found dead today in a steep ravine of the Oregon Wilderness in what appears to be an attempt to get help for his family. When it was apparent that James and his family were stranded in the snow early this past Saturday he left them to seek help. He had walked a long distance before his body was discovered in a ravine today by authorities. His autopsy results indicating cause......

There's only one question: where does your allegiance lie? The Bruins were slaughtered by the Trojans 66-19 last year with what was considered the best UCLA men's football program in years. What is important to realize however is that last year's USC men's football program was also considered its best in years. While USC lacks the star power of last year's team, Pete Carroll has managed to take this year's additions and turn them......
