This Sunday "Robin Williams: Weapons of Self-Destruction" airs on HBO at 9pm. This is the first special Williams has done for HBO in over seven years and it will most certainly cover his recent stint in rehab and his open-heart surgery. See the above video for a couple leaked clips from HBO.

Mark Wahlberg says there's two more seasons of "Entourage" left and then perhaps a movie.

TV Junkie: 'Trauma' Has a Pulse; Tivo Beats Leno; White Christmas
NBC's "Trauma", like a Monty Python sketch, ain't dead yet according to Chuck Barney at the Contra Costa Times. After trimming it's production costs the producers were given the green light to make 3 more episodes. We like the show (it's on the TV Junkie Plan tonight at 9pm) because: it's the only medical drama series with some action/cajones on TV right now; it's shot in our onetime home of SF and that location has become a character in the show; and it stars the talented and lovely Anastasia Griffith whom we interviewed at the Emmys and also a couple years ago about her work on FX's "Damages".
TV Junkie: Amanda Returns to 'Melrose Place'
In similar CW/FOX-of-yore news, Heather Locklear will be re-joining "Melrose Place" as the delightfully evil Amanda Woodward and will make her debut appearance on the November 17th episode. What're they saying, these new kids aren't good enough?
TV Junkie: 2009 Emmys - Talking Fashion with Carrie Preston of 'True Blood' & '90210' Star AnnaLynne McCord
The TV Junkie is not a fashion guy. He looks to North Face's wicking microfibers because in this heat he sweats. He is a sweaty guy wearing frumpy, if not comfortable clothes, so he was somewhat out of his element at the Mondrian Hotel yesterday, where their Skybar was hosting "Emmy Suites", a collection of designers and cosmetics services targeting Emmy-party-bound performers and celebs.
Box Office Review: More Grim Economic News
On Saturday night -- following yet another brilliant concert by Lisa Hannigan at the Troubadour -- my friends and I headed over to Pink's for a late-night "Mulholland Drive" dog. We ended up speaking to a couple from Covina who had just attended a screening of Madea Goes to Jail. That couple is now dead, as should all of those be who made the awful Madea this week's box office champ ($41.1M). The thrilling Taken was a very distant second ($11.4M/$95.1M) just ahead of the surging and splendid Coraline ($11M/$53.3M).
Weekend Movie Guide: Oh Lord, no!
It's a sad weekend for movie-goers across the country when it's a slam-dunk certainty that Madea Goes to Jail is going to easily top the box-office. I admire Tyler Perry's business acumen, but he is truly an awful filmmaker. Then again, is Madea really any worse than Fired Up!? The only way you could get me to see this flick is if it was rated XXX. If you are a fan of Project Runway (which I'm not) then Eleven Minutes is probably required viewing. Chain Link is a hard-core indie flick (one guy writes, directs, edits and produces) so support it if that's you're thing. Delhi-6 looks like it's trying the ride the coattails of Slumdog Millionaire. Good luck!
