Two LAFD firefighters and two civilians were injured this morning when an ambulance crashed into a car in North Hollywood. While responding to a call for assistance, the emergency vehicle collided with a car at the intersection of Vanowen Street and Vineland Avenue at about 9:20am.

At just past midnight, a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance carrying four firefighter paramedics and a critical medical patient were involved in a collision with another vehicle at Temescal Canyon Rd. and Pacific Coast Highway. The driver of the other vehicle was airlifted to the hospital in critical or serious condition according to Ron Meyers, LAFD Spokesman.
