The Cahuenga corridor/crawl night spot formerly known as Tokio Lounge is undergoing a complete rennovation and being transformed into Ecco. Using natural and environmentally friendly materials and products, Ecco is calling itself "Hollywood's first eco-friendly lounge." Expected to open in July, the new lounge will feature an organic menu, eco-friendly cement (waste materials added to pack cement), an LED lighting system, waterless urinals and air pressure toilets. LAist is still sweating after last night's harrowing slate of L.A.-themed television on HBO. First off, you've got the new series Entourage, produced by Mark Wahlberg. This show covers the slice of Los Angeles that our site tends to avoid - it's about a preening, air-headed movie star who lives the good life with a posse of high school friends. It's received good reviews, but we wonder, why? It doesn't take a lot of creativity......
