Jack is a sweet beautiful Balinese boy. Balinese are a long-haired version of Siamese. He is fluffy and so very soft—he is a joy to pet. Ringo is a 6-year-old neutered male Maltipoo. Shelter Seeks Good Home for Abandoned Pit Bull Puppies
A shelter in San Clemente is trying to find good homes for a group of pit bull puppies that were found in December after being abandoned, reports KTLA. The puppies were discovered in a crate with their mother just before Christmas, and taken by a Good Samaritan to the San Clemente/Dana Point Animal Shelter.

Hee-Haw! Want to Adopt a Wild Burro from the Desert?
This is news to us: "there are twenty-two wild horse and burro herd management areas located throughout Southern California," according to the Los Angeles Animal Services Department, which sells licenses to those planning on having one at home (but you've gotta live in an equine district, we believe). Every year, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rounds up the animals from public lands in California, Nevada and Arizona, bringing them to a corral near Ridgecrest, grooming them for adoption.
