In game one the Lakers tried to be physical but ended up being pretenders. The Rockets despite being the ones battered and bloodied got the first knock out. Shane Battier’s bloodied face and Yao Ming’s bumped knee wouldn’t detract the Rockets into getting away from their game plan. In a stunning victory, bouncing back from their previous night's loss, the Ducks managed to defeat the Bruins last night 68-66. This takes UCLA out of their undefeated season. With UCLA down, Darren Collison nailed a crucial 3-pointer to tie the game at 66. Aaron Brooks then nailed a jumper to give Oregon a 2 point lead over the Bruins.
