A trio of twenty-something women are sought by police after a handful of home burglaries in the West Valley, the LAPD announced today. The women are using the “Knock-Knock Burglar” method, which entails repeatedly knocking on the door and breaking through a back window if no one answers. In a home south of Ventura Boulevard in Encino last Friday, the three employed the technique, but fled when breaking a window triggered an alarm. They are suspected in two other Encino area burglars and are described as African Americans in their late twenties possibly using a gray or light colored compact. more ›
