  Fees were already raised this year. Now a mid-year raise? This is ridiculous. The UC staff had a campaign going about "cutting from the top" (the executives/regents/etc salary) and I'm starting to think they may be right....

  I'd be curious to know what compels the city to pay for the officer's lunches. Were they not allowed to take their lunch break? You would think that with 3000 officers, they could take lunch break in a few shifts....

  Yeah, is there actually a law against this, and if so, why? If people want to pay for tickets (for anything), why not? It seems to me that the worst you're doing is breaking a contract with the ticket provider...
