Pets of the Week: Lulu & Taz
Lulu a beautiful 4-year-old pedigreed red point Javanese looking for a new home. Javanese (and Balinese) are the longhaired version of the Siamese. Lulu is a very petite girl — just 6 pounds. She also enjoys lap time and loves to play with her kitty toys. Taz is a 2-year-old rottweiler who was hit by a car and left for dead. Luckily he survived! He would love to find a family who would cherish him forever.

Board for Breast Cancer Event Tomorrow, From Santa Monica to Redondo Beach
It seems like everyone is going pink these days in support of breast cancer awareness, and apparently skateboarders didn't want to be left out. Tomorrow, local nonprofit Boarding for Breast Cancer will play host to an 18-mile ride down the Pacific coast, beginning in Santa Monica and ending in Redondo Beach, intended to raise funds and awareness for the disease.
