Sharon Stone Called Her Kids' Nanny Stupid, Lawsuit Alleges
Sharon Stone might need to tweak some of her most basic of instincts -- her children's former nanny claims that while employed by the actress, she was berated, insulted and denied overtime pay.
Erlinda T. Elemen, who worked as an assistant nanny then head nanny for Stone from 2006 to 2011, filed a lawsuit against Stone in Los Angeles Superior Court today. In it, she lobs a number of complaints against the "Casino" star: She claims that Stone suggested Eleman is stupid because she's Filipino, and told Eleman that she couldn't speak to Stone's three kids while watching them because the actress didn't want her children to "talk like you."
Additionally, after being paid overtime for her sometimes seven-day work weeks, Eleman says that Stone asked her for that money back. When Eleman refused, she claims Stone started repeatedly yelling at her in front of other staff before finally firing her.
Eleman, who's represented by Solomon E. Gresen of Rheuban & Gresen, is asking for an unspecified amount in damages.
