A 32-year-old man was arrested yesterday for allegedly exposing himself to school children at Esther Walter Elementary in Stanton, Orange County.

Russell Paul New is being held on $50,000 bail, according to City News Service. He was booked on suspicion of indecent exposure and trespassing, authorities reported.

New was seen trespassing at the school and told to leave multiple times this week prior to his arrest. On Monday, the school principle spotted him trying to get into a locked bathroom and told him to leave. He came back about two hours later on a black bicycle.

Jim Amorino of the Orange County Sheriff's Department said that there were reports of New either sexually touching himself or scratching in that region.

New returned again on Tuesday morning. An office manager told him to leave, but a short time later parents reported that he had exposed himself to the kids.

Investigators say that New may be the same "tall man" seen exposing himself to a group of boys at Knott and Katella Ave. That suspect is about 6'2 and was reportedly riding a black bike.
