Whitney Houston's Body Left Van Nuys Airport This Afternoon
After Whitney Houston passed away, Tyler Perry reportedly offered the use of his private jet to Houston's family to transport her body. Today, they took him up on that offer.
City News Service reports that Houston's body arrived in a white van to the Van Nuys airport this afternoon. A private plane then took off at about 3:15 p.m. The singer's body is reportedly heading to New Jersey for burial, where much of Houston's family still lives.
Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton on Saturday afternoon. It's not clear yet how she died, and police are refraining from commenting until a toxicology report has been completed.
