There's an underground phenomenon happening right now in Los Angeles. It's been called "emotional," "naughty" and a "little secret." And it's reportedly riling up the old-school bingo community.

We promised our lips were sealed, but we lied. Ready for it? It's The Underground Rebel Bingo Club, and those already in the know say "it's bingo gone wrong." But to us, it sounds so right. Three years ago a group of Londoners invented the "new mutant form of bingo," says a release, in the basement of a church hall. Since its inception, the bingo revolution has expanded globally, gracing 25 great cities, including New York, Madrid and Ibiza. And now, "Bingo!" It's hit L.A.

The first installment took place last Saturday with players winning "big, hardcore prizes." Did you miss it? Do not dismay. Two more loud nights of DJs, Rebel Bingo stage shows, winning, dancing, drinking and bingo playing are slated for Friday, February 17, and Saturday, March 3. But be warned, there are eight crucial club rules. The first rule of The Underground Rebel Bingo Club is "no old people." The second rule of The Underground Rebel Bingo Club is "no boring people." You may talk about The Underground Rebel Bingo Club. Click here to read the remaining six rules, and please note that the dress code is "dangerous."

L.A. event locations are located "somewhere in east Hollywood," and the event website requires participants to subscribe for the deets. We do know the party rages from 9:30pm until 2am, costs $5 to $15 online and $20 at the door. Prepare to shuffle more than a deck of cards, Angelenos.
