Photo: Naked Man Climbs Tower in Downtown, Threatens to Jump [UPDATED]
A naked man climbed to the top of a tower in downtown this afternoon.
Witnesses said not only is he naked but he's been gesticulating wildly and yelling. An LAPD spokesman confirms with City News Service that, yes, the man "appears to be mentally unstable" and he's threatening to jump.
The man scaled the multi-story tower just before 4 pm this afternoon. The tower is located on the eastern end of downtown on Temple Street near the city's personnel building.
UPDATED 2/9: He's alright, and police were able to lure him down with some Mickey D's.
