Chill Out: We Aren't Getting a Big Winter Storm After All

It's raining, but it's not pouring, and it's not going to, Los Angeles! The big winter storm we were promised yesterday is actually going to be a lot milder than predicted, says the National Weather Service, who have canceled the Winter Weather Advisory formerly in place today for the mountains of L.A. and Ventura counties.

Still, we are feeling a little chill today, as a storm system moves through SoCal today and tonight. But most of the storm's energy is headed south, so we'll be seeing less rainfall, and less snowfall at higher elevations, than anticipated.

Don't worry, though--we should be back into those beautiful sunny 70s by Thursday!

I'm rather annoyed that it didn't rain, I actually drove my car in to work today.
