City parks not nice enough for you? Dislike the neighborhood strip joint's employees dancing in their skivvies? Want your street to be renamed? Have beef with big time Hollywood actors? You could go ahead and file a steaming pile of lawsuits and demand cash, which is what one Huntington Beach lady has been busy doing.

Stacy C. Harris has filed 47 lawsuits in Orange County since May 2011, asking for a combined total of millions of dollars from "various government agencies, businesses and people, including the Orange District Attorney's Office, the Orange County Sheriff's Department and actors Tom Hanks and Adam Sandler," according to the OC Register.

Her deal with Sandler? Harris' suit claims he "entered property where (Harris) lay," and she's asking for $2 million. Surprisingly, it does not appear Harris is requesting a $12 ticket price refund for having seen "Jack and Jill" (we'd understand that demand). Unfortunately, details about her suit against Hanks were not available.

Harris' claims against the city of Huntington Beach include their alleged liability for a fall she sustained on an area street during her pregnancy that led to her needing to go on bed rest while carrying her twins. She also has a variety of additional complaints against the city for not doing enough planting to "beautify" local parking lots and sidewalks.

Other demands in Harris' lawsuits include better tending to local parks, and letting fire pits stay open at one park until midnight (well, if "no crimes are being committed," she notes). P.S. Harris wants a street called Diablo Circle renamed.

Harris also has an issue with what goes on a a local strip club, and for what's sold in one adult-oriented store. From the Register:

She wants $9,000 from the exotic dance club Ecstasy in Fountain Valley for "permitting the viewing of female dancers, fully nude" and $11,000 from Funkypair in Westminster because the store "contains female shoes for cross-dressing males."

She's suing the OC Sheriff's Department, too: Harris "says they arrested her and put her into a mental [institution] without a proper interviewing process." No stranger to the long arm of the law, Harris "was arrested for violating a restraining order and charged with contempt of court in January, records show."

Gives me the idea to create a class action lawsuit against Happy Gilmore productions that their films make the people who see them dumber than they already are.

In this instance I will trust their intuition, as I think they may have been on to something
