Will Ferrell's Lost Super Bowl Commercial, Found In Nebraska

Did you happen to catch Will Ferrell's Old Milwaukee Super Bowl commercial? No? Neither did we. That's because the big-budget ad aired only in North Platte, Nebraska yesterday.

The beer commercial captures an all-American, slow-motion Ferrell walking through a field of golden grains, halting when a can of Old Milwaukee lager is tossed his way. He opens the can and begins to recite a line, but the spot is abruptly (and intentionally) cut off.

Hardly the first of its kind, the ad is one of many starring Ferrell as part of an Old Milwaukee local commercial series. Other Midwest cities graced with his love for the American beer are Davenport, Iowa; Terre Haute, Indiana; and of course, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ferrell reportedly approached Old Milwaukee because "he's a big fan of the beer and thought it would be fun to make the commercials."

"It just doesn't get any better than this!" Right?

Here are a few more of Ferrell's Old Milwaukee spots.

Which Super Bowl commercials made it to your favorites list this year, L.A.?

  • Lol, you moron. The commercial doesn't intentionally cut off... That's the local television station fucking something up, and cutting it short. That happens quite a bit...
