Woman Shot & Killed At Hollywood Thai Restaurant Identified

The woman who was shot and killed at a Hollywood Thai restaurant Friday night was identified Monday by the coroner's office.

Jitrujee Buatet, 44, was shot once and pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to City News Service. A man allegedly pulled out a gun at Pink Pepper and pointed it at Buatet, who attempted to grab the weapon. Three shots were fired, striking the victims and shattering patio glass. The incident occurred shortly after 10pm.

Buatet's male companion, whose name has been withheld, suffered two gunshot wounds but is expected to live. He underwent surgery for his wounds.

Police are investigating the shooting and have ruled out two initial male suspects who fled in a black sedan. A suspect description and motive have yet to be reported.
