Guy Caught Driving Without Pants Tells Police: 'My Thing is the Freedom'
A man was arrested in Glendale this week after police caught him driving pantsless.
Umar Khan, 34, of Glendale was arrested Thursday on suspicion of "indecent exposure." Police told the Glendale News-Press that during their investigation of Khan, they discovered that he likes driving around at night pantsless, looking for a cul-de-sac or driveway to masturbate in. Khan seems to have been down this road before: in 1998, he was convicted for indecent exposure.
Khan was arrested around 2 am Thursday after he ran a stop sign. When police pulled him over, they noticed he wasn't wearing anything from the waist down. Police said he offered an explanation: “My thing is the freedom.”
Police say when they arrested Khan he also had meth and a glass pipe in his car, and they arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
