Tonight's happenings offer a variety of experiences, including going green, witnessing a light show, viewing a medley of art mediums, listening to tales of the biggest bitches in relationships and ogling a steamy "trip tease." Get out, get inspired and get back to your computer to tell us how it went.

GREEN WORKSHOP
Go green tonight at The G2 Gallery in Venice in collaboration with Sustainable Works as part of Green Living Workshops. Unfortunately for all Angelenos, the event is restricted to residents of City Council Districts 5 and 11. The 6-week "action-oriented" workshop course "will help you reduce your energy and water usage, save on utilities and cut landfill waste," says the gallery's website, covering topics like water, energy, waste, chemicals, transportation, shopping and food. Workshops available to other districts can be viewed here. 7pm-8:30pm. Free. Register here.

LIGHT SHOW
"Single Wing Turquoise Bird," presented by Los Angeles Filmforum and the UCLA Design Media Arts Department, begins tonight in the EDA of the UCLA's Broad Arts Center. "The most significant light show in Los Angeles from 1967 to 1975," according to a release, the show joins forces with musicians Miroslav Tadic and Friends for an evening of real-time projection and live music. Free-$12. 8:30pm-11pm. An additional performance is scheduled for Thursday night.

ART
"Perpetual Conceptual: Echoes of Eugenia Butler" opens at LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) tonight as part of Pacific Standard Time. The exhibition focuses on the "seminal, but largely unknown, Eugenia Butler Gallery," per the Pacific Standard Time website, and exhibits "a large collection of work of various media, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, performance and video that was owned by the gallery" and collaborates with "contemporary artists to recreate or reinterpret past gallery performances." Tonight's open reception is from 6pm to 9pm. Free. The exhibition displays through April 21.

BURLESQUE
Prepared for a "trip tease" at Trip in Santa Monica. Taking place every Wednesday, "Trip Tease" promises "burlesque variety at its best" and live music. 8pm. No cover.

LITERARY*
Book Soup hosts a group event tonight presenting the anthology I'm Not the Biggest Bitch in This Relationship: Hilarious, Heartwarming Tales About Man's Best Friend from America's Favorite Humorists. A collection of "bark-out-loud original essays about dogs from some of today's most popular writers," per the Book Soup website, the book features authors Wade Rouse, Jiffy Wild, W. Bruce Cameron, and Annabelle Gurwitch, who will all be present tonight. 7pm. Free. A signed copy of the book is $14.
