Tracy Morgan Collapses At Sundance From 'Combination Of Exhaustion & Altitude'
Actor Tracy Morgan was rushed to a hospital in Park City, Utah on Sunday after collapsing at a Sundance Film Festival awards ceremony.
The funnyman's spokesperson released a statement identifying the causes of his condition as "a combination of exhaustion and altitude."
Morgan was honored with the Spotlight Initiative Award on Sunday during the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards. After his speech, the "30 Rock" star was escorted from the building by security personnel and fell unconscious.
The Hollywood Reporter says sources told the publication that "during the dinner Morgan seemed inebriated, yelling and falling onto the ground."
Morgan's rep stated, "He is with his fiance and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false." TMZ reports that a spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center claims neither drugs or alcohol were found in Morgan's system.
No updates have been provided on his condition.
