Did the Dog Walker Who Found the Severed Head in the Hollywood Hills Pose With It In a Photo? [UPDATED]

A Hollywood photo agency is shopping for a buyer willing to fork over big bucks for a grisly photo: a woman posing with the severed head that her dogs sniffed out on a stroll through the Hollywood Hills.

The unnamed photo agency reached out to Gawker and offered up 24-hour exclusive rights for the photo for $5,000. The agency told Gawker that one of the photos included a picture of a woman smiling with the head. We're not sure if photos are supposed to be of the dog walker herself Lauren Kornberg, her mother or some other bystander who wanted to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Gawker, which apparently isn't biting, did ask other sites whether they'd be willing to cough up that sort of money for that sort of morbid photo. RadarOnline told Gawker no, and so did the Smoking Gun and the New York Post. Media Takeout said it would be interested for $3,000. We'll keep our eyes peeled for any takers.

UPDATE: The dog walker told Gawker it was not her, but she suspects the hikers who called 9-1-1 to report the head might have taken such a photo.
