Dress For Molest? Police Hunt For Ross Groper Who Rubbed 11-Year-Old's Butt

Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau are on the hunt for a man who apparently could not keep his hands off the buttocks of an 11-year-old girl at a Ross department store in the City of Industry.

On December 8, the young Hispanic girl stood in line to purchase her items when the handsy suspect approached her from behind. He grabbed the girl's buttocks and rubbed them for several second, stopping when the victim's mother witnessed the sexual assault and yelled at the suspect. He fled the scene on foot.

The suspect's image was captured on the store's surveillance video. He is described as a male Hispanic, 30 to 35-years-old, 5'06" to 5'07" and 200 to 220 pounds.

City of Industry Sheriff's Station deputies "made great efforts to apprehend the suspect," according to a LASD release, but have been unsuccessful in their mission.
