Experience 'A Day In California' Via Time Lapse Video

From its beaches to its mountains to its deserts, California really is the Golden State, rich with something for everyone. The state's bevy of natural and manmade treasures are visually stunning and beautifully captured in a time lapse video created by Ryan & Sheri Killackey.

Today's video lunch presents "A Day In California," a short film showcasing the great California outdoors via trains weaving through the mountains, hot air balloons, beaches, boats, lakes, waterfalls and much more. A few shots of local icons, like Disneyland, the Griffith Observatory and the downtown L.A. skyline, summon a warm, fuzzy feeling of home for we Angelenos.

Composed of over 10,000 photographs, the video is accompanied by The Cinematic Orchestra tunes, says "Honestly...WTF." We're honestly a little late in discovering the video, which was posted on YouTube in August 2011, but it's never too late to enjoy our coveted west coast home.
