Street Closures for Sunday's '13.1 Los Angeles' Half-Marathon That Kicks Off in Venice

This story is free to read because readers choose to support LAist. If you find value in independent local reporting, make a donation to power our newsroom today.

The 13.1 Los Angeles half-marathon kicks off tomorrow morning in Venice and heads south down to Playa Vista and loops back. The race kicks off at the Venice Boardwalk at Rose at 7 am tomorrow morning.

Because it doesn't cut through the city and major thoroughfares and sticks close to the coast, this half-marathon isn't as likely to be as intrusive as other big races in town, but we have the low-down on street closures should you plan to head to the coast on Sunday.

Here is the approximate schedule for street closures via the event's site:

Venice:
Pacific Ave at South Venice Blvd. - 6:30AM - 7:15AM
South Venice Blvd. - 6:30AM - 7:30AM
Ocean Ave. - 6:45AM - 7:30AM Marina del Rey/County of Los Angeles:

Admiralty Way at Bali Way - 6:45AM - 8:00AM
Admiralty Way at Mindanao Way - 6:45AM - 8:30AM
Fiji Way - opens at 8:45AM

Bike Path:
Between Playa del Rey and Marina del Rey - 6:45AM - 8:30AM
Between Imperial Hwy and Ballona Creek - 6:45AM - 9:00AM

Playa del Rey:
