More Vegan Eats For The Westside, Native Foods Is Coming To Santa Monica
Westsiders, rejoice. Native Foods Café, the popular vegan restaurant chain headed by the acclaimed Chef Tanya Petrovna, is coming to Santa Monica.
With Los Angeles locations already in Culver City and Westwood, the mind-blowing eatery has announced plans to open 15 new locations in 2012, according to VegNews' January newsletter. The Santa Monica spot, along with locations in Boulder, Newport Beach and San Diego, are slated to open during the new year's first quarter. The Native Foods site lists the Newport Beach opening as January 31. Check out the other existing western locations here.
The 2012 expansion follows a 16% boost in the chain's 2011 sales. Named 2011 Restaurant of the Year by VegNews, Native Foods serves up "delicious, healthy, fun food," as stated on its site, and willl wow any vegan food skeptic. The café's cuisine is akin to vegan comfort food, and we leave perfectly satiated every time.
