Cinema and television-obsessed, mark Griffith Park as your number one go-to spot to spy a production shoot. The iconic site boasts the number one spot as 2011's top offlot L.A. shooting location.

The park reportedly housed 346 permitted days for its main address last year, not including the golf course and observatory. FilmL.A. spokesman Todd Lindgren said, "You can find pretty much any look you need in the park," reports Variety.

Venice Beach, L.A.'s top tourist attraction, ranks as the second most popular shooting spot with 184 permitted days. Following closely behind in third is downtown's Los Angeles Center Studios with 173 days.

The remaining seven of 2011's top ten most popular offlot shooting locations are Disney Ranch, a warehouse on Terminal Street, Elysian Park, Linda Vista Hospital in Boyle Heights, Dockweiler Beach, the Club Ed movie ranch in Lancaster and Will Rogers State Beach.

Commence stalking, Angelenos. We won't judge you.

the rangers need to keep the littering and smoking done by the crews in check. i ride up there all the time and every time a production finishes up there's always food trash and cigarette butts left over.

That's terrible to hear! Definitely an issue to investigate. Thanks for letting us know (and for reading and commenting!), Mike!
